There is a POWER ...*

(I just stumbled upon the writing immediately below.

I had apparently written it some months ago, then forgot about it.

I feel moved to share it with you here—for your inspiration.

Please don’t get caught up in any of its mind-centered concepts.

I’m using mind-generated concepts here only as a means of

supporting the more mystical opening of your heart and soul

to embrace your deeper identity.

May your reading experience be profound!)

There is a unique POWER

to project any possibility

onto an invisible screen and to make it appear real—

so that those with a receptive consciousness

can observe and experience it as real.

Equally, there is a unique POWER

to create an entire universe—

indeed, many universes, unlimited universes,

worlds with endless possibilities to pursue—

and to have them also experienced as real.

There is also a unique POWER

to move any and all of these creations

in any direction—new directions, different directions—

at a moment’s notice, in the twinkling of an eye,

thereby creating ever new marvels to be experienced as real.

What is this unique POWER …

this endless capacity to create pure phantasms

and have all of them appear so convincingly real?

It is the POWER of pure emptiness,

complete nothingness, unfathomable zero,

complete void.

Only from such complete ‘nothing’

can such magical projections arise.

Only from the utter absentness of everything

can anything appear as a something.

Only from the infinite void

can such unlimited power express.

This void is both nowhere and yet seemingly everywhere.

This absolute ‘nothing,’ while invisible and immaterial,

holds a POWER beyond that of any magician,

beyond the skills of any illusionist.

What we call ‘creation’ is but the mystical work

of this most gifted of all illusionists:

the quantum void.

This nothingness, this emptiness, is all there is.

It is mighty and powerful, especially in its non-existence.

It is everything—or at least what appears to be everything—

experienced as real,

while in truth that ‘everything’ is equally nothing at all:

absolute, infinite nothing.

Pure nothing. Simple nothing. Unassuming nothing.

A ‘nothing’ that needs no recognition, no name or fame,

no obedience or worship, no acknowledgement.

It is the silent POWER … that simply IS!

Creation, then—whether of universes, worlds, you or me—

is a grand and wondrous illusion.

It is pure ‘nothing’ appearing as if it were a something,

Simply so that it can be experienced as real.

In truth, you and I have no tangible existence

but only the appearance of existence,

so that we can embody and fulfill a unique possibility—

the possibility bundled together in the seeming form

that we call ‘you’ and ‘me’!

So, ‘you’ are not real at all. Not at all.

No matter how seriously you take yourself,

no matter how important your life seems,

the 'you' that you appear to be and experience

and the life that you seem to be living

are but the equivalent of a full-fledged dream,

a personalized dream of a unique possibility.

Yes, you are a possibility—

one of an infinite array of possibilities,

all of which are being dreamed and imagined

at the same time.

This dream that stars you as its central character

is both no more important than the innumerable dreams

that star others,

and equally enormously important in and of itself—

because nowhere else is the possibility that is you being dreamed.

Nowhere else!

Therefore, dream your dream with abandon and dedication,

with fervor and commitment, with devotion and love.

And, equally, dream it with selflessness, humility and impassion—

as if it weren’t happening at all.

Go, therefore, into your life,

armed with the awareness that

you are but a phantasm, a dreamed possibility

and nothing more …

That you both matter and don’t matter at all,

that your nothingness is always present

in your seeming somethingness,

and that it is always ‘nothingness’ itself

that is running the show

of the dream that is you.
