The Shift from Being to Nothing

I used to feel like I was sitting in silence

A thick silence you could say

A silence that was comforting and

A silence made from something

Almost like there was a fine fabric to it

Now there is nothing

It’s neither silent or not silent

It’s not here nor there

It’s not anything but yet it’s something

I can’t describe it yet I feel it

As long as I don’t try to catch it

It feels like anything can happen

And it stirs me

Almost like butterflies in my stomach

Because it is about to burst with

Something

It’s magical

It’s mysterious

It’s a force

And It feels real

Because it is me
