Sounds of Silence

Recently I attended a meditation retreat at the start of the new year.

One of the traditions in this practice is to take silence.

I never had done this in the past, but felt inspired for some reason

and chose to be in silence for week.

Being quiet in both meditation and activity revealed

how physical silence flows into an inner silence

that is vast and vibrant.

Physical silence is a sort of "no-one" here

but just the "observer" observing the material world around him.

What a joy that is!

When there is no one to be or do or have in relationship to others,

the small self can relax

and let the big Self take precedent.

The world of the ego or personal self and its concerns

are seen through the clear eyes of the vastness of the Self.

They are more like a squidling line instead of the reality.

The personal ego and all its striving and concerns step back

and the Self or Source takes care of life.

The relief of this surrendering or letting go is effortless

well as transformational.

it's available with eyes open in activity.

The collective environment or field formed by a large group of meditators

certainly helps support this level of individual consciousness.

Fortunately, when the retreat ended,

there is the collective field

that Bill and our fellow participants are enlivening

by focusing on the Quantum Void.

I am grateful to Bill and this group for their support

in deepening the unfoldment of the silence and bliss of Being

that is the essence of who we truly are.

QUANTUM SOURCE ... QUANTUM WORLD ... QUANTUM VOID ... QUANTUM YOU!
