Mysterious Friend

Quantum Source ... Quantum World ... Quantum Void ... Quantum You!

I had been sitting in quiet time contemplating the surprising (to me) fact that Bill, during the most recent Shift Network session, seemed to be indicating that the Divine Mind portion of our being was itself a production of the Quantum Void. Because I have some background in Indian metaphysics, I thought, yeah, that’s Brahman and Parabrahman, the latter standing in for Quantum Void, in the language Bill is using. Heady stuff, and better, perhaps, to just call it all Mystery and go on sitting quietly.

At this point, out from behind a curtain, so to speak, stepped my mysterious friend. I first met him in the late nineties during a time that I had attended a number of public sessions with Emmanuel, an entity channeled by Pat Rodegast. During a Q&A session when I had asked him something—I don’t remember what—he referred to me as a holy man. That startled me, and I might say that to this day I haven’t come to terms with it—more mystery. It was during that time that the being I’m referring to here as my mysterious friend, began to appear.

In language today that seems maybe a bit more revealing than concealing, I understand him now to reside in a different dimension than this conventional, space and time based one that we reside in, with, however, a portal into it, that opens (and closes!) without conscious effort on my part. I think that he’s a once-human entity that attained a perfection and refinement of the human form and decided to stick around in order to help me as I flail around here trying to understand what’s really happening. Although I don’t have a clear enough image of him to offer here a precise description of what he looks like (looked like?), he seems to be dressed in the clothes of revolutionary France, late eighteenth century, whatever those look like. He is profoundly quiet, never speaks a word into my head, but by some subtle pressure, guides my mind and understanding from, and into his silent space, offering a kind of wisdom—again, without words—that settles me in a space of open acceptance and knowing.

Back to the contemplation I was engaged in, regarding Divine Mind in us. What it boils down to is the Great Paradox of how we are both something and nothing. We may be something as lofty as Divine Mind—many throughout history have openly stated, often to their peril, ‘I am God,’ and one could see the truth in that, but an incomplete truth. Without at least the acknowledgement that ‘I am Nothing,’ being that nothing always and evermore (again, the words! the words!), one is left open to delusion, even as ‘God.’

As I’ve said, my mysterious friend did not provide any guidance in words or thought, just that gentle, powerful pressure into his silent space. And, I think, encouragement to write this down despite the limitations of language, and perhaps share it with others. As to where he stands in relation to the QuantumVoid, other than saying that he’s an other-dimensional being, I’ll leave that to Mystery.
