I Had a Dream

Last night I had a dream

In it

my mind was in neutral

my heart was in love

my emotion was in harmony

my soul was in truth

my spirit was in ecstasy

my body was in health

my core was in emptiness

This morning I woke up

My mind was quiet

my heart was open

my emotion was content

my soul was peaceful

my spirit was spacious

my body was happy

my core was grounded

It was then I realized

This dream showed me my true self

the self that I really am

a self that already exists

that already fills my being

that is ready to wake up

and play freely in my world

Ready to create a new reality

one of neutrality

of inner peace

of quietness

of sweetness

and of wonder

Today I spread out my arms

I tenderly touch this self

I embrace its real-ness

I claim it’s possibilities

I choose its boundless-ness

I own it’s wonder

Today I am at peace
